Do you text a few people a large amount and wish you could save money by texting for free? Well with Whatsapp you can. Just download the app, find contacts and start chatting. Whats app uses your wifi or 3G connection to send and receive messages from any Android, Blackberry or iPhone. Its similar to instant messaging messaging apps like Aim but the difference is you don’t need to sign in every time you turn on your phone and your phone will alert you like you have an sms.

I have been using the app for a few months now and I would highly recommend it!

Price: Free for first year, $1.99/year after.
