If your Windows 8 PC does not recognize Nexus 7 Android Tablet take the following action.

    Start the PC,
At Home screen, click All Apps.
    Open Settings ,
    Choose Storage.
Click Menu Icon , and Select The Command USB COMPUTER CONNECTION,
The two Available Options are MTP and PTP.
Check mark by the Media Device (MTP) option to select it.

    Dear user

This is a common problem after formating. So i have given below the method to solve the issue .

I reformatted my computer (win7) and had the same issue.

I did this and it worked well:

    Go to Device Manager

    Uncollapse the "Portable Devices" option

    Right Click
    Select "Update Driver Software"

Cleaned up the issue for me.

    Good luck.

    Hello Guest,

Don't worry my friend you just need to install your hardware in your PC.
For solving this issue you just follow my given suggestion's:-

===>First of all connect your tablet to your PC over USB.
===>Now go to Metro screen first.
===>After that go to Control panel there.
    ===>Now switch to Classic View.
===>Select Add Hardware option from available list.
===>This option will open a wizard to add hardware.
    ===>Complete this short wizard.
===>Restart your both the device's once.
===>This time your PC will recognize your tablet.

    Hello Sir,

This is not the big issue with any USB or other device also...

    Its just setting issue....

So if wants to connect then follow some steps....

    1. When you connect USB to PC and device...

    2. Then in Nexus device in notification bar you get notification...

    3. The notification is connect USB storage....

    4. Tap on it then a black screen appears...

    5. And below it there is option of Connect storage to PC.....

    6. Then tap on it and press OK....

And then open My Computer in PC and then the option appears...

    Hope you understand....

    Thank You.........
